Due to the extreme cold and the State of Emergency declared by Gov. Tony Evers, Pellitteri Waste Systems announced all services for Wednesday and Thursday are cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Residents who  normally receive pickup on Wednesday and Thursday will not receive pickup this week. The company will collect additional bags of trash next to carts next week on the normal pickup day. Material must be bagged.

In its announcement, Pellitteri wrote that "we realize this may cause an inconvenience for residents. However, with such cold temperatures we must consider the safety of our drivers and also the reality of probable mechanical issues for our trucks."
