Pedal for Paws on tap for July 15 in NG

NEW GLARUS - The 16th annual Pedal for Paws Benefit Bike Ride for the Green County Humane Society will begin with check-in at 7 a.m. July 15, with all routes departing from Village Park in New Glarus.

There will be 25-, 45- and 65-mile routes with varying elevations up to 3,500 feet.

Helmets are required for all participants. There will be complimentary refreshments at the rest stops/aid stations and SAG service will be provided until 2 p.m. for riders who run into issues or are unable to complete the course and need a ride back.

Registrations on or before Monday will cost $40 for an individual, which includes a moisture wick T-shirt. The family fee for two adults and two children is $55 and includes two T-shirts. Additional fees for children are $15 each and includes one T-shirt.

After July 3, the individual fee is $45, the family fee is $65 and each additional child fee is $20 each. Register online at P4P.zapevent.com or through the link on Facebook/p4pgreencounty.

Everyone is welcome to join the after-the-ride party at Village Park for live music, food, soft drinks and free beer, courtesy of New Glarus Brewery, Minhas Craft Brewery and the Grumpy Troll Brewery.
