Parkside students take on politics

MONROE - Although Election Day is less than two months away, people unsatisfied with the candidates representing the two major political parties have several alternative choices. Monroe Times reporter Michael Brestovansky investigated Parkside Elementary School in Monroe and found several potential candidates in the school's kindergarten and first-grade classes. The candidates outlined their understanding of the responsibilities of the commander in chief and what they would do if elected.
