DARLINGTON - "The Gift of Organ Donation," hosted by Home and Community Education Association (HCE) of Lafayette County, is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the Darlington High School cafeteria, 11838 Center Hill Road.
Jill Ellefson, executive director for the UW Health Organ Procurement Organization, will discussing the process of organ donation. She will speak about organs and tissues that can be transplanted, including the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, bones, tendons, cornea, skin, heart valves and veins.
