MONROE - Future Forward Green County, in cooperation with chambers of commerce throughout Green County, is offering a free on-board event on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Monroe Clinic's Café Conference Rooms, 515 22nd Ave.
The purpose of the on-board event is to help connect new, relocated employees to the area. New employees throughout Green County will be introduced to a variety of organizations in the county. There are two sessions for employees to choose: the first session will be from 3 to 5 p.m., and the second session will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Organizations can set up a booth/display to promote their programs to the new employees. Groups able to display booths at the event include: activity clubs, arts community, banks, chambers of commerce, child care, Future Forward, Green County Leaders, health and wellness professionals, Main Street Monroe, non-profit organizations, outdoor recreation, realtors, school districts, service organizations, social clubs, tourism, University of Wisconsin-Extension and Young Professionals.
The event will consist of a short presentation and welcome to the community; socializing and networking so each new employee can meet/greet; ice breakers; and visiting exhibitors booths from community organizations.
All human resources professionals in the county can send their new employees to the event hosted by Colony Brands, Inc., and Monroe Clinic.
