MONROE - Four men accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl entered "not guilty" pleas in Green County Circuit Court on Tuesday.
Johnathon Sutherland, 22, Albany; William Viney, 24, Monticello; Eric Wade, 26, Belleville; and Dustin Weber, 33, New Glarus, appeared separately in court on charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement.
Each of the men stood mute on their charges, and "not guilty" pleas were entered on their behalf.
Additionally, Sutherland requested a modification to his bond that would allow him to carry a smartphone for work purposes, limited freedom to visit Belleville for work purposes, freedom to visit his sister in Appleton and supervised contact with minors.
Viney and Weber also requested a substitution of judge. Viney, Weber and Wade appeared before Green County Judge James Beer; Sutherland appeared before Judge Thomas Vale.
The four were charged after they were accused of having sexual contact with an underage Belleville girl in fall of 2014. Each faces at least one charge each of second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement; Weber faces an additional charge of making threats of injury.
