The Monroe Times will not publish a newspaper Thursday, Jan. 1 in observance of the New Year holiday. The Times' regular publication schedule will resume Friday, Jan. 2. The Monroe Publishing offices, which includes The Monroe Times, Monroe Shopping News and Freeport Shopping News, will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 31 through Friday, Jan. 2. Offices will re-open Monday, Jan. 5. Regular business hours are Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
