Next up for Comprehensive Plan: Economic Development

MONROE - Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, in coordination with Green County, the City of Monroe, and UW Extension is hosting two more community meetings. The first will be held Tuesday.

Over the next few months several community meetings will be held on each of the seven topics in the City of Monroe's Comprehensive Plan Update (2025).

Next up is Economic Development and Agriculture. Those meetings will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Aug. 18 at the Wisconsin Bank and Trust Building, 1717 10th St.

Savannah Ernzen, an Associate Planner for SWWRPC, will be guiding and moderating the meetings. Any Monroe resident interested is encouraged to participate and attend.
