New law firm opens in downtown Monroe

MONROE - A new law firm specializing in worker's compensation and other employee-side workplace disputes opens today in Monroe.

Hawks Quindel Ehlke and Perry S.C., a statewide firm, is at 1412 13th St., next to Bonnie's and Bullet's restaurants just off the Square.

Attorney Katy Lounsbury, a shareholder in the firm and a resident of Exeter township, will head up the Monroe office.

The firm will work with employees in Green, Lafayette and Rock counties. Among the issues it focuses on are long- and short-term disability claims, discrimination, wrongful termination and severance negotiations.

The firm also represents labor organizations comprising hundreds of local unions that represent more than 70,000 Wisconsin employees.
