NEW GLARUS - The Village of New Glarus, on behalf of The Chalet of the Golden Fleece Museum, was awarded a $2,875 grant by the National Trust for Historic Preservation from the Preservation Fund.

Grant funds will be used to obtain a building condition report. The building condition report provides a road map for long-term preservation planning/prioritization for the historic Chalet.

Grants from the National Trust Preservation Funds range from $2,500 to $5,000 and have provided more than $15 million since 2003. These matching grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations and public agencies across the country to support wide-ranging activities.
