The Maple Grove Cheese Factory, located on Route 1, south of Juda, was in Jefferson Township. The photograph taken in April 1939 is one of several donated to the National Historic Cheesemaking Center by Mrs. Neil Signer. The factory was primarily a Swiss cheese factory. Cheesemakers at the Maple Grove factory included Frank Nessler, Hans Anderegg, Fred A. Blumer, Alfred Buehlman, Emil Baumgartner and Fritz Laeser. Questions or
