The Grimm Cheese Factory photo, donated by Walter Stettler, is one of the oldest factory photos on display at the National Historic Cheesemaking Center. Pictured are Mr. and Mrs. John Emmer, cheesemaker. The building, which housed the factory, was also their residence, very common in the early years of cheesemaking. Little is known about the Grimm Cheese Factory and/or its location. The center is eager to expand the database with a more complete description. Additional information on the Grimm Cheese Factory and its location will provide a more complete story for future generations.
