Mosher earns ChSNC designation

MONROE - Dave Mosher earned the Chartered Special Needs Consultant professional designation from American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa.

In order to earn the ChSNC credential, financial professionals must have completed one of three advanced designations: the Chartered Life Underwriter, the Chartered Financial Consultant or the Certified Financial Planner. Completing the ChSNC designation requires a minimum of 120 hours of study as part of three college-level courses that include six hours of proctored examinations. Once the program is completed, a ChSNC can provide advice on a range of financial topics including special needs trusts; wills; powers-of-attorney; guardianships; Social Security and Medicaid; tax deductions and/or credits that apply to special needs individuals; and more.

Mosher got his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned the CLU and the CFC degrees from American College. Mosher also earned the Certified in Long Term Care degree.
