MONROE - The Monroe school board unanimously approved bids for the clock tower restoration and Monroe Middle School partial roof projects at a school board meeting April 23. B&B Quality Building Restoration of Wisconsin, Fitchburg, submitted the $157,000 bid approved and recommended by the finance committee for the clock tower restoration, and McDermaid Roofing and Insulation Co. of Rockford, Illinois, submitted the chosen $60,800 bid for a section of new roof at the middle school.
