Monroe School Board: June 29, 2010

On Monday, June 28, the Monroe school board:

• approved a contract with Midwest Instructional Leadership Council of Rochester, Minn., to help the district collect data to make decisions about curriculum to write its curriculum for students. The cost of the contract is $12,340.

• hired H & H Painting of Madison to paint the exterior of Abraham Lincoln Accelerated learning Academy at a cost of $8,140.

• hired Allison Dyer as Northside Elementary School second grade teacher; Simon Larson as high school special education teacher; and Braden Rindy as high school math teacher.

• transferred Monroe High School math teacher Steve Christensen from the high school to the virtual school.
