MONROE - During a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Public Property Committee:
Discussed and recommended to council to authorize the sale of used city equipment to city employees. More than 100 items, from tape dispensers and calendar holders to furniture and computer equipment, will be for sale to city employees, including alderpersons, through a silent bidding process. Any items not sold will be disposed through donations.
Discussed and recommended to council to approve the sale of 14 eight-foot, used tables from the Senior Center at $25 each.
