MONROE - New officers elected to the City of Monroe Business Improvement District (BID) Board of Directors on Tuesday were Bob Duxstad, president; Mike Doyle, vice president; and Jean Tullett, secretary. Treasurer duties are performed by the city accounting offices.

Other members of the board include: Kim Lee (Garden Deli), Jim Finley (Wisconsin Community Bank), Chuck Radke (Wing 'n Pond), Barb Gelbach (das Baumhaus), Dr. David Riese (Monroe Main Street), Ryan Wilson (Fehr-Graham and Main Street), Cherie Hughes (Dilly Bean) and Sherrill Kelly (Uptown Girl).

People whose terms are expiring expressed willingness to remain on the board. Past President Sherrill Kelly said those board members are expected to be reappointed by the mayor.

In addition to the election of officers, the board discussed parking meter options and progress on expanding BID boundaries. No actions were taken on those items.
