MONROE - The first two community Dairy Queens have been announced.
On Monday night, Mikala McKee was crowned the new Monroe Dairy Queen during an event at Monroe United Methodist Church. McKee, the daughter of Howard and Rebecca McKee, will be a senior next year at Monroe High School.
The first runner-up in Monroe is Katie Meier, the daughter of Bruce and Judy Meier. She will be a junior next year at Monroe High School.
On Saturday, Albany crowned its new queen, Tiffany Masseur, the daughter of Barb and Ken Henningsen. She will be a junior at Albany High School. The first runner-up is Michelle Mauerman, daughter of Jim and Christine Mauerman. She will be a junior at Albany High School.
