MONROE - Green County Veteran Services office is asking for names and addresses of U.S. military personnel from Green County who will be in Iraq or Afghanistan, or on military ships supporting either theater, during Christmas.
The names will be used by local veterans organizations and their auxiliaries to send Christmas packages. Packages must be sent soon to ensure delivery by Christmas time.
