BRODHEAD - Methamphetamine was found on a Brodhead sidewalk Tuesday morning.
A suspicious plastic vial was reported on the sidewalk at 8:22 a.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue, according to a Brodhead Police press release. When police investigated the vial, they found it contained a yellow-white powdery substance.
Subsequent investigation of the powder determined it to be about half a gram of methamphetamine.
The location where the vial was found is close to a restaurant and convenience store and near the Brodhead Memorial Public Library, the Albrecht Elementary School and the Brodhead High School.
