The City of Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at noon at the city hall. Agenda items include action on certificates of appropriateness.

The Village of New Glarus Personnel and Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include review of first quarter general fund budget.

The Village of New Glarus Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include consideration of ordinance limiting the number of dogs per household.

The City of Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include oaths to new council members and appointments to committees.

The Lafayette County Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the courthouse. Agenda items include appointments to housing authority and human services boards.

Wednesday, April 20

The City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 5 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include a discussion on redistricting of city wards due to new census data.

The City of Monroe Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners will meet at 5:15 p.m. at the city hall recreation department. Agenda items include possible approval of quotes for Twining Park lights and playground bench equipment.

The New Glarus School Board Curriculum Committee will meet at 4:15 p.m. in high school conference room 115. Agenda items include discuss and review curriculum instruction policies.

The Village of Blanchardville Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda include oaths of office for new board members.

The Village of New Glarus and Town of New Glarus Joint Extraterritorial Zoning Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include consideration of land division by CSM-Robert Elkins.

Thursday, April 21

The City of Monroe Senior Citizens Board will meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Behring Senior Center lobby. Agenda items include continuation of strategic planning process.

The Town of Monroe will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m. at the town hall. Agenda items include setting license fees and maintenance of cemeteries.

The Town of Monroe Board will meet following the annual meeting. Agenda items include discussion on summer road work.

Tuesday, April 26

The Town of Monroe 2011 Tax Roll will be available for inspection from 5 to 7 p.m. at the town hall. Personnel from the assessor's office will be on hand to answer questions on reassessment of property.

Friday, May 13

The Town of Monroe Board of Review will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. at the town hall. Town Clerk Karen Sutter must be notified of intent to file, or objection forms returned, at least 48 hours prior to the board meeting. Forms and appointments may be obtained from the clerk, (608) 325-3806.
