The City of Monroe Public Safety Committee will meet at 5 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible authorization to pursue purchase of used police motorcycle.

The Monroe Main Street Board of Directors will meet at 5:15 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include availability of property with possible recommendation to city to purchase.

The Green County Law Enforcement Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the sheriff's office. Agenda items include jail population.

The Town of Monroe will meet at 7 p.m. at the town hall. Agenda items include private property cleanup problems.

The School District of Argyle will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Argyle High School Library. Agenda items include resignations and hirings and the establishment of 2008-09 school fees.

The Monroe Main Street Economic Restructuring Committee will meet at 8 a.m. at Amcore Bank. Agenda items include review of rental inventory form, mailing list and letter.

The City of Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at noon at city hall. Agenda items include a public hearing regarding plan for creation of Downtown Historic District.

The Lafayette County Building and Insurance Committee will meet at 3 p.m. at the Lafayette County court house conference room, room 202. Agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding bids for air conditioning system for communications room.

The City of Monroe Public Property Committee will meet at 6:25 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible act on purchase of vacant lot at intersection of 11th Street and 17th Avenue using funds from TID #7.

The City of Monroe Finance & Taxation Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible act on purchase of vacant lot at intersection of 11th Street and 17th Avenue using funds from TID #7.

The City of Monroe Salary & Personnel Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include a recommendation to council to hire a replacement deputy treasure.

The City of Monroe License Committee will meet at 7:10 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include temporary Class "B" fermented malt beverage license for Knight of Columbus.

The City of Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include two public hearings on ordinance amendments for mixed use development, and for permitted use in M-1 and M-3 zoning districts.

The Darlington Community School District Long-Range Planning Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the board room at DEMS. Agenda items include executive session to discuss personal matters.

The Darlington Community School District School Board will meet at 8 p.m. in the board room at the elementary/middle school. Agenda items include presentation of the estimated 2008-2009 budget.

The Green County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. in Yodel Hall at the Government Services Building, N3150 Wis. 81. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a variance from Maple Leaf Cheese Co-op for an existing storage shed in the setback area of the ordinarily high water mark of a stream 64.8 feet vs. county code minimum of 75 feet on industrial zoned land located at N890 Twin Groves Road, Town of Jefferson.
