MONROE — Readers of the Monroe Times will be able to win a weekly gift certificate in an eight-week contest titled “Match Your Merchant” beginning Feb. 5.

The contest ends with one of the participants winning gift certificates totaling more than $400 in value.

The contest, which lasts until March 25, asks readers to match candid photos with the business they represent. Each week a winner will be chosen and an individual winner will receive a $35 certificate from the Monroe Times redeemable at any of the contest’s participating businesses. At the end of the eight-week contest, a grand-prize winner will be chosen from all the entries collected. The grand-prize winner will receive gift certificates from the participating businesses totaling more than $400 in value. Participants need only fill out the weekly contest form and drop it off at the Times office, 1065 Fourth Ave. West, by 8:30 a.m. on Monday. The Monroe Times has a mail slot in the front door if the office is closed. More details will be included with the contest form each week.
