March of Dimes walk is Saturday at MHS

MONROE - The March of Dimes walk this year will be Saturday at a new site - Monroe High School, 1600 26th St. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, with the walk starting at 8:30 a.m.

Teams from several local businesses and organizations will be participating, including Farmers Insurance, Swiss Colony and Monroe Clinic, along with many more Green County residents. The Johnson Family members are the Green County March of Dimes ambassadors. To join in, visit marchforbabies.org or call toll free at (800) 525-9255 to sign up as an individual; to start a corporate, family or friends team; or donate to help babies be born healthy.

The March for Babies started in 1970 and is the March of Dimes' premier fundraising event that benefits all babies. The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health.
