BRODHEAD - A Madison man wanted in connection to a rash of thefts from vehicles in the Brodhead area and beyond turned himself in Friday at the Dane County Sheriff's Office in Madison, according to Brodhead Police.

Ruslan M. Fedorov, 23, was still at large after his alleged accomplice, Thomas S. Kusch, 23, Madison, led police on a foot chase and was arrested at about 3:45 a.m. Thursday in Brodhead.

Police believed Fedorov was driving a vehicle stolen out of Brodhead, a gray 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix sedan with the Wisconsin license plate 550VEF.

The stolen car is still missing.

Kusch is currently jailed on a $500 cash bond related to a long list of charges in Green County Circuit Court, including a felony count of possessing narcotic drugs and misdemeanor counts of receiving or concealing stolen property, possessing marijuana, resisting police and bail jumping. A competency hearing in his case is set for March 22.
