MONROE - The Monroe Arts Center will hold its annual Underwriters Preview Party from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24 in the Peppercorn Banquet Room at the Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Dr.
The event provides businesses and individuals with the opportunity to participate in supporting the arts and to raise their visibility within the Monroe community, Green County and Northern Illinois. The Preview Party also gives potential underwriters the opportunity to explore the various underwriting levels and consider if underwriting is right for them.
The event features brief audio and video presentations of the shows selected for the next season's entertainment, narrated by Dan Blum of Big Radio. Displays featuring performances for the upcoming 2014-15 entertainment season will be on hand. Music, wine, beer, soda and hors d'oeuvres will be available for those who attend. Live music by Peggy Sheffer will be provided throughout the evening as well as entertainment from individuals who performed at the 2014 MAC Radio Live.
The free event is open to the public. Reservations are required by Wednesday, Feb. 19. For more information, contact the Monroe Arts Center at 608-325-5700 or 888-596-1249 or www.monroeartscenter.com.
