MONROE — About 300 people rallied together on Saturday, March 28 in downtown Monroe, the third rendition of the nationwide “No Kings” rallies, which aim to peacefully draw light to the increasingly autocratic policy changes under the second Trump Administration.

Thousands gathered across Wisconsin, including about 450 people in Dodgeville, and many more in Albany, Belleville, Darlington, Platteville and beyond. More than 10,000 marched in Madison, with another 8,000 coming together at Washington Park in Milwaukee.

More than 3,000 partnered events took place across the country, with all 50 states represented. Several international protests also took place in solidarity, including in France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Portugal and the U.K. Approximately 8 million attended rallies in the United States, surpassing the 7 million record mark from the second No Kings rally in October as the largest single-day protest in American history. The first No Kings protests took place in June 2025 with about 5 million participants nationwide.
