MONROE - AmericInn Lodge and Suites Monroe, 424 4th Ave., Wisconsin 69 N, participated in a special corporate event where hundreds of gift items were prepared, packaged and donated to military families.
The event took place during the 2012 AmericInn Annual Convention in Minneapolis, Minn., during April.
More than 500 AmericInn hotel owners, franchisees, managers, vendors and corporate staff prepared gift items including stuffing teddy bears, assembling bicycles and packing tote bags with toys, games and activities promoting family time. AmericInn Lodge and Suites Monroe was represented at the event by Richard and Jane Thoman of Monroe.
The gifts will be distributed to families through military support organizations.
