The Monroe Police Department has announced the juvenile has been found.
"Monroe Emergency Services personnel found the missing 15 year old handicapped boy safe and sound near his residence on Monroe’s west side about 30 minutes ago. A firefighter located him hiding in some thick bushes at the edge of the property," Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley said in a press release at about 3:14 p.m.
Monroe Police, Monroe Fire, Green County Sheriff and EMS, and agencies from other jurisdictions assisted with the searching. A K-9 Team from Sun Prairie PD assisted.
The statewide alert that had been sent out has been canceled.
Authorities are still involved in looking into the matter, Kelley added.

MONROE — Local authorities are searching for a missing 15 year old handicapped boy.
According to a press release from Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley, at 7:34 a.m. on September 13, Monroe Police were contacted regarding the absent teenager. The boy is missing from his residence in the 300 block of 3rd Street, on Monroe’s west side, missing since about 9:30 p.m. last night (Friday night).
The boy is identified as Brighton J. Muth (15), of Monroe. Brighton is a paraplegic due to a medical condition and does not walk. He is missing without a wheelchair, or other assistance resources and to the best of anyone’s knowledge, is crawling. The last known information is that the boy may only be very minimally clothed.
Monroe Police, Monroe Fire, Green County Sheriff and EMS, and agencies from other jurisdictions are assisting with the searching. A K-9 Team from Sun Prairie PD is being utilized.
A statewide alert was requested and Amber Alert went out just after 11 a.m.. Information is being put up on social media platforms.
Authorities are concerned about the boy’s welfare. It would be difficult for him to move himself.
