ALBANY - The Albertson Memorial Library Board, library staff and members of the Friends of the Albertson Memorial group are asking for donations as they prepare for the fifth annual silent auction at the library.
Donations can be individual items, gift certificates or themed baskets. Contributions must be made by Tuesday, Sept. 4. Items can be mailed or dropped off at the library, 200 N. Water St., or can be picked up by the board, staff or friends of the library.
Baskets and items will be displayed at the library from Saturday, Sept. 15 until noon on Saturday, Oct. 6. The goal this year is to raise $1,500 to replace two outdated computers used by library patrons.
