NEW GLARUS - The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank Branches announc-ed the promotion of Sheri Kanter to vice president, electronic banking manager.
In her new role, Kanter's primary responsibilities will include online banking, business cash management, and ATM, debit card, and wire transfers, as well as the policies and procedures surrounding those products.
Kanter started with the bank in 1995 as part of a three-way rotation in the operations department, where she did proof processing, account balancing, and bank computer processing. Since then, she has worked with merchant credit card processing for the bank's business customers and managed Internet banking. Kanter holds an Accredited ACH Professional certification.
