JUDA - The final community queen was crowned Sunday evening at the Community Center in Juda. The new queen is Jessica Jordan, daughter of Kurt and Tina Jordan. She will be a sophomore at Juda High School in the fall.
The first runner-up is Camilla Klar. She is the daughter of Tim and Jackie Klar and will also be a sophomore at Juda High in the fall.
The community queens will have a full day Thursday, June 16. The 11 new queens will all compete for Green County Dairy Queen and Green County Dairy Princess. They will be judged all afternoon and will answer the "Big Question" at the Queen's Banquet at 7:30 p.m. following Moo-Tails which begin at 7 p.m.
The new Green County Queen and Princess will be crowned at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 19 at Veterans Park in Brodhead following the Concert in the Park.
