Zakula, 67, Monroe failed to discharge ashes appropriately. The incident happened at the N3100 block of Wisconsin 81, Town of Monroe. First responders arrived within minutes and found the vehicle engulfed. Zakula was able to pull the vehicle over and exit without injuries. The fire was thought to be caused by a failure to discharge ashes appropriately with additional combustibles on the passenger side seat.
