Ill. man injured in motorcycle crash arrested for 2nd DWI

TOWN OF WASHINGTON - An Illinois man sustained severe injuries Sunday after he crashed a motorcycle while intoxicated.

Eugene C. Mosconi, 40, Warren, was injured at 12:02 a.m. after he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a guide wire in the N7100 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Washington.

The motorcycle then continued down an embankment and struck several fences, according to a police report.

Mosconi was transported by Med Flight to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. No updates on his condition were available at press time.

Mosconi was also arrested for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and was cited for driving a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement, driving with a revoked license, speeding, failing to stop at a stop sign and driving left of the centerline.

His motorcycle sustained minor damage.
