Highway project public meeting set for Feb. 25

MADISON/ALBANY- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Southwest Region will hold a public meeting to discuss a preventative pavement maintenance project along Wis. 59, from Weiss Lane to the south junction of Wis. 104 in Green County. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 in the Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St. The project includes asphaltic pavement surface removal and replacement; safety improvements including guardrail upgrades, new signing and pavement markings; and replacement of highway bridge over Sylvester Creek in the Town of Sylvester.
