MONROE - Green County Patriots, a new group in Green County, will hold its second meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Masonic Temple Building, 1613 10th St.
The purposes of the group are to maintain the principles and ideals that the country was founded on, and to ensure that citizens retain their freedoms of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The group is comprised of all individuals, regardless of party affiliation, who believe people need to keep America and their American values strong.
Green County Patriots will meet every other Thursday, beginning Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m. During the meetings, the group will provide a forum for like-minded people to become more educated on current issues and to hear from special guests. The meetings are open to the public.
