The Green County Historical Society has been collecting records, photos, newspaper clippings and souvenirs of the 120 former one-room schools of Green County for 13 years. Shown here is a photo from the collection of the late Shirley Blumer of Albany for which the only information we have is that they are students of Bessie Gelbach.
