MONROE - The 13th annual Gavin Breadon Memorial Swim Meet will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Recreation Park swimming pool. The swim meet is a non-competitive event, with concessions and activities starting with the National Anthem at 10 a.m. and the presentation of scholarships to this year's Monroe High School seniors. There will also be a annual silent auction of hand-blown glass pieces made exclusively for the event by Gavin's brother, Eoin Breadon, an internationally-recognized artist and assistant professor of sculpture at University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
