MONROE — Beginning Wednesday, April 21, Green County Public Health will begin offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. This schedule is dependent upon vaccine supply.

To schedule an appointment, community members will need to pre-register through the Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Registry. Users can go to gcpublichealth.org and click on “COVID-19 Vaccine Information & Registration” on that page individuals will find the link to register. Once registered, individuals will receive an email from the registry system within 24-48 business hours that includes a link to schedule an appointment.

At this time Green County Public Health is only providing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. This vaccine is only approved for people 18 years of age and older. Do not register if under 18. Anyone under the age of 18 will not be able to make an appointment. People ages 16 and 17 years are able to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and are encouraged to find a provider administering that vaccine by visiting vaccinefinder.org.

Green County Public Health is only able to vaccinate Green County residents at this time. People who live outside of Green County can find another vaccine provider at vaccinefinder.org.

For more information on the COVID-19 vaccine, monitor the Green County Public Health website and Facebook page, the DHS website for updates, and follow @DHSWI on Facebook and Twitter, or dhs.wi on Instagram. Additional information can be found on the CDC website.
