Four retain Monroe school board seats

MONROE - Four incumbents have retained their seats on the Monroe school board.

Five candidates were running for four seats on the board in the Tuesday, April 2 election. Daniel Bartholf, Brian Keith, Les Bieneman and Scott Schmidt all retained their seats, beating out challenger Melissa Lees.

Vote totals were: Lees, 832; Bartholf, 1165; Keith, 1016; Bieneman; 1147; and Schmidt, 1071. There were 33 write-in votes.
