DARLINGTON - Four Lafayette County Board supervisors face opposition in Tuesday's election.
District 3 Supervisor, and County Board Chairman, Jack Sauer is being challenged by Ray Elgin.
Sauer serves on the Fair; Hospital, Long Range Planning; Regional Planning; and Workforce Development committees.
District 8 Supervisor Jed Gant is being challenged by Ron Niemann.
Gant serves on the county's Bargaining; Executive, Rules and Legislation; Fair; Finance; Highway; Hospital; Nursing Home; Planning and Zoning; and Rails and Trails committees.
Two other incumbent supervisors are being challenged by write-in candidates.
District 12 Supervisor Gerald Heimann is being challenged by former Shullsburg Mayor Dan Morrissey. Because Morrissey is a write-in candidate his name will not appear on the ballot.
Heimann serves on the Highway Safety; Human Services; Lafayette County Trails; Law Enforcement and Emergency Government; Planning and Zoning; Public Health; and Rails to Trails committees.
District 7 Supervisor Bob Helm is being challenged by write-in candidate Bob Boyle. Boyle's name will not be on Tuesday's ballot.
Helm serves on the Community Action; Greenco; Hodan; Hospital; Human Services; Law enforcement and Emergency Government; Long Term Support; and Nursing Home committees.
