Former NG man faces more than decade for OWI

MONROE — A New Glarus man has been charged with his 9th offense of operating while under the influence.

Ronald J. Black, 66, is charged with the alleged crime, a Class F Felony, in Green County Circuit Court. His current address is at a Maryland prison, according to state court records. He also has spent time at Prairie Du Chien Correctional institution.

Records show he was pulled over more than a year ago by New Glarus Police, who then arrested him for the alleged offense.  His court appearance was set for last Friday before Circuit Judge Faun M. Phillipson.

A Class F Felony is punishable in Wisconsin a maximum of more than 12 years in state prison.
