DARLINGTON - A former Belmont man was charged Friday with eight counts of possession of child pornography. Brian J. Holzer, 31, Platteville, faces eight Class D felony counts of possession of child pornography after a January tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children flagged suspicious downloads to an IP address in Belmont throughout 2016. The IP address was linked to Holzer, who had moved to Platteville some time before the investigation, according to a criminal complaint.
