MONTICELLO - The designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) was awarded to Julie Ruegsegger, Personal Lines Agent, of Tri-Insure LLC, Monticello, at a ceremony held on Aug. 4 in Wisconsin Dells.
The honor followed her successful completion of an insurance education program, sponsored by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, said a statement.
Ruegsegger completed the five CIC institutes and comprehensive written examinations, focusing on all major fields of insurance, insurance management and agency operations. Ruegsegger joined Tri-Insure (formerly known as Freitag-Atkinson Agency) in 2005 and has managed the personal lines insurance division since 2008.
She lives in Monticello with her husband, Earnie, and their two sons, Ryan and David, who attend Monticello High School.
