MONROE - A final orientation session to apply for membership to the Monroe Fire Department is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3 at Station 1, 601 West 17th St.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age as of Sept. 6 and hold a valid driver's license.

Those interested in joining must attend the orientation to obtain an application packet.
