MONROE - The final performance in the Monroe Arts Center's Family and Kids Series takes place from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Monroe Arts Center at 1315 11th St.
Madison singer, songwriter and musician Ken Lonnquist presents a free children's concert featuring "kid's music you'll love," according to a news release.
Lonnquist, along with guest pianist Dave Adler, entertains with original songs brimming with delicate melodies and delightful lyrics, topped off with his one-of-a-kind sharp comedic wit. Lonnquist has performed all throughout the United States and has won Best of Madison Gold Award as Children's Musician and Parent's Choice. In addition, he has composed 15 full-scale musicals for the Children's Theater of Madison.
Even though Saturday's concert will have special appeal to children in preschool through fifth grade, Lonnquist's music and humor is enjoyed by adults as well, the news release said.
