FEMA specialists visiting Monroe through Monday

MONROE - Community Education Outreach (CEO) specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be available at Harris Ace Hardware, 105 71/2 St. in Monroe today through Monday to aid residents with questions about rebuilding as a result of flood damage from June 5 flooding.

CEOs will provide information and answer questions regarding remedies for mold, rebuilding techniques to avoid further flood damage, the federal flood insurance program, and federal and state disaster assistance programs. They also will assist resident in registering for assistance.
