TOWN OF ADAMS — A farm worker died in a skid loader accident on a farm northwest of Argyle Sunday, Dec. 15, according to the Green County Sheriff's Office.

First responders took lifesaving measures on 39-year-old Darren Meade of Argyle but he was pronounced dead at the scene, said Chief Deputy Tom Moczynski.

The skid loader overturned while Meade was doing farm work, an initial investigation found.

The accident was reported about 6:20 p.m. on a farm in the N6600 block of County A, Town of Adams, on the northwestern edge of the county. Deputies, Argyle EMS, Green County EMS and the Argyle Fire Department responded to a call reporting an unconscious victim.

A Medflight helicopter was requested and landed on scene, Moczynski said.
