NEW GLARUS - This year's Breakfast on the Farm will be held Saturday, May 26 at the Don and Jane Elmer farm, W6048 County K west of New Glarus.
The Elmers have been actively involved in the planning and would like to incorporate antique and modern farming equipment.
The Green County Ag Chest is in need of volunteers and donated items for the annual event. Anyone interested in being a volunteer can contact Bonnie Gerner at (608) 527-5096 or Sue Rieder at (608) 862-3992.
Items still needed include coffee cakes and hogs for sausage. Those interested in donating coffee cakes should call Craig Kamholz at (608) 214-3330. Anyone interested in donating hogs can contact Kamholz or Hoesly's Meats, New Glarus, at (608) 527-2513.
The next organizational meeting will be held Tuesday, April 17 at the New Glarus High School, 1701 2nd St. Anyone interested in helping with organization is invited to attend.
