MONROE - Monroe Family Video will take part in the Round It Up for Lymphoma fundraising event between Friday, March 15 and Sunday, March 31.
During that time, the store will accept $2 donations and enter those customers into the raffle of their choice. Several local businesses have donated to the raffle. Items include a $50 gift card from the Laughing Trout restaurant; $20 gift certificate from Alp and Dell Cheese Shop; four 30-day passes to Anytime Fitness; and two hair cut certificates from Fantastic Sams. Family Video has also donated a Blu-ray player and a movie night gift basket to the raffle.
During the event, Family Video customers can also donate by rounding their transactions to the nearest dollar. Donations will go to benefit two causes: the launch of a Lymphoma Tissue Bank at the University of Chicago Medicine and general lymphoma research at the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
